The H.O.P.E. program is a 4 part program designed to prepare Habitat families for successful home ownership. The program components are:
- H.O.P.E. 1 – Orientation to the Habitat Housing Program
- H.OP.E. 2 – Financial Foundations
- Budgeting
- Setting Goals
- Insurance and Wills
- H.O.P.E. 3 – Home Maintenance
Media Training
Each component is delivered as a half-day in person workshop. The Workshops are prepared and presented by volunteers. Attendance at all H.O.P.E. workshops is mandatory for Habitat families and counted as part of their sweat equity.
